This time-honoured form of embroidery can be both decorative and functional. We will take a tour of a variety of beautiful stitching patterns, practice simple stitches, learn how to mend, and complete a simple project using this beautiful technique. Sashiko is also very meditative and the process is often referred to as mindful mending.Sashiko Workshop Intel...Do I need to be an experienced embroiderer to take this workshop?  No, this class is suitable for beginners and seasoned stitchers.Do I need to bring anything?  All materials are included, but feel free to bring a piece of clothing that needs mending and  I can give you some guidance.
