Should Calgary run a monorail above 7th Avenue? A subway beneath? Or perhaps Edmonton is onto something with light-rail transit, or LRT!Join The Sprawl for a trip through Calgary’s transit history. We’ll start in front of Old City Hall (where there’s an unused underground LRT tunnel nearby) and walk west.At the end, you’ll be able to return to the walk’s starting point via the CTrain Free Fare Zone—itself part of the story…WALK NOTES: Will use speakers / voice amplification, limited parking, no washroomsMEETING SPOT: 800 Macleod Trail S.E., Calgary, AB  - At the front steps of Old City Hall (the sandstone building with the clock tower)YOUR WALK LEADER: Jeremy Klaszus is founder and editor of The Sprawl, which publishes slow news for curious Calgarians.
