Spring Break Camp
Join us for a SUPER fun week of camp! We'll climb the walls, blast off into outer space, and learn about the HEROES her in our community.
CAMP PRICES$35/day per Military Child$30/day per Civilian Child (only one civilian friend per Military Child)AGES 6-13Register for a Single Day or the Full WeekRegistration Deadline: March 15th, 2019CAMP SCHEDULEMonday, March 25: Start the week off with the heroes nearest and dearest to our hearts with a trip to the military museums. After that we'll be grabbing burgers for lunch and then spending the afternoon at Laser Quest.To bring: snacks, water, indoor shoes, weather-appropriate clothes (hats, gloves, etc.)Tuesday, March 26: This morning we get to meet some local heroes! We're starting the day off with a tour of one of Calgary's Fire Stations. Then we're off to Boston Pizza for lunch, and we're finishing the day off with a movie! (It'll be either The Lego Movie 2 or How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, just depends on showtimes).To bring: snacks, water, weather appropriate clothes (hats, gloves, etc.)Wednesday, March 27: We're blasting off into outer space this morning with a trip to Spaceport at the Calgary Airport! We'll take a spin around the Milky Way in their planetarium, then we'll be making our own rockets and blasting them off! After lunch at the Yangtze Buffet, we're heading to The Hanger for an afternoon scaling the walls in their climb park.To bring: snacks, water, indoor running shoes for climbing, weather-appropriate clothes (hats, gloves, etc.)Thursday, March 28: We're spending most of today learning about Canada's sports heroes at Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. We might even meet some future Olympians! Then we'll finish the day off having tons of fun snow tubing at C.O.P. Please bring a bagged lunch today. The MFRC will provide an afternoon snack before we go tubing.To bring: morning snack, water, lunch, indoor shoes, all your winter gear for tubing (boots, winter coat, snow pants, hat, mittens or gloves)Friday, March 29: We're finishing the week off with a trip to YouthLink, Calgary's Police Interpretive Centre, in the morning. Lunch will be from Mucho Burrito, then we're off for a high-flying afternoon of fun at InjaNation.To bring: snacks, water, indoor running shoes for InjaNation, weather-appropriate clothes (hats, gloves, etc.)
