Irene used Mary’s words to inspire her art-making which appear as colour pages in the book. The second Sunday in September, Irene hosts an annual event called “Passport to the Arts Show and Sale” where authors, poets, musicians, and artist, working in various genre share their work. This day includes scheduled musical performances and poetry reading. For specifics on presenters and times please look at her website, https://passporttothearts.ca/ .
