What is it to give time and space to that which we are already sensing? How might this open us up to new possibilities or re-inforce our conviction in those already present that feel best?Come practice giving yourself permission to be as you are, to move as you can and want to, to follow the threads of what truly feels good in your own body, heart and mind and to feel what it is to do that WITH others.WHAT:1.75hr, guided, conscious dance class / somatic exploration.Ruth seeks to shape each class as an opportunity for those present to open into the mystery, challenge and intensity of being embodied, and to do so in a supported environment alongside other curious souls.There will be verbal guidance throughout to support a deeper connection to your own form and the space, and later the forms of others. There are no choreographed moves or steps, but a series of invitations and supports into feeling and sensing more deeply what is present for you, for enlivening your body, feeling your feelings and to exploring a wide range of movement. We mostly move to music, with some moments of silence throughout. The first part of class is typically focused on building your connection with yourself and moving alone, the second half(ish) includes more interaction and dancing with each other. Touch and physical contact will nearly always be a part of class however this part is always optional and self-determined and sought to be guided with care.
