This mini workshop is open to frontline works, therapists/counsellors and caregivers who need and seek to develop restorative health and wellness exercises and strategies focused on the specific use of mindfulness practices and music assisted mindfulness interventions. This workshop will cover tropics associated with stress response and the benefits of integrating mindfulness practices to help reduce stress, burnout, compassion fatigue and foster peace of mind and a greater sense of gratitude and life fulfillment. This hands on workshop will guide participants in mindful breathing, sitting, walking and standing as well as will provide a group experiential exercise employment music and mindfulness for personal exploration and discovery, giving moments to debrief and process via movement, toning, jounaling and art work.
To ensure for an intimate and restorative experience the max number of registrants for this workshop will be 12. Mindfulness practices need a safe and secure container in which to explore and to develop deeper ways of knowing, reflect, and awaken insight/inner resources to strengthen and renew.
Cost: $65/person, A light snack and drinks will be provided.
