You’ll be guided through real-world examples of influential projects, while also gaining insight into how structure, sequencing, and creative “rules” can shape both the process and the final result.This is an interactive workshop with plenty of opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and idea-sharing. You will have the opportunity to participate in guided brainstorming sessions, working in small groups to develop and refine your own project ideas, from early concepts to intentional collections of work.We’ll also cover practical and physical considerations, such as choosing a format (book, zine, or exhibition). Along the way, you’ll be encouraged to experiment, interact, and more.What to expect:Whether your goal is to exhibit your work, publish a project, or simply deepen your photographic practice, this workshop offers the tools, perspective, and inspiration to get started.This workshop is part one of a two-part series. Brady holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and uses art to explore philosophical questions and navigate his mental health. His award-winning photographic work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, online, and in print. Brady is deeply committed to his community and serves on the boards of the Exposure Photography Festival and TRUCK Contemporary Art. He is currently working on several projects, including Nowhere, a photographic exploration of trauma and memory in his hometown of Drumheller, Alberta.
