Over the course of her career, she has journeyed from weaving to ceramics, fabric collage, artist books, painting and paper-mache as a vehicle for her tales. Cloth, thread, paper, color and pattern have been constant connectors through the years. Her conviction that our greatest rewards often come from simple, everyday objects and moments is a recurring theme. Communicating with people through the objects she makes continues to be the primary and sustaining focus of her work. Margaret received her BA from Rhodes College. Since that time she has continued her education at Rhode Island School of Design, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Penland School of Crafts where she was a Resident Artist 2008-2011. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events9/banners/db4cac30-bf75-11f1-b2f0-89ce03a8b09a-rimg-w987-h740-dc181818-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/db8f5a80-bf75-11f1-b2f0-89ce03a8b09a-rimg-w1107-h740-dc282828-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events6/banners/dbcc6380-bf75-11f1-b2f0-89ce03a8b09a-rimg-w1009-h740-dc989898-gmir.jpg - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/calgary/papier-mâché-comes-alive-with-margaret-cogswell/100002001891260650 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Art, Workshops, Crafts, fine-arts - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 8 hours - Location: Kensington Art Supply & Instruction - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 593.25, max: 656.25, currency: CAD ## Event venue details - **city**: Calgary - **state**: AB - **country**: Canada - **location**: Kensington Art Supply & Instruction - **lat**: 50.99114720000001 - **long**: -114.0412687 - **full address**: Kensington Art Supply & Instruction, 6999 11 Street Southeast, Calgary, Canada ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Papier-Mâché Comes Alive with Margaret Cogswell - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/c2c0de465d6423829688c73e74e531315c705db3995231899e361b27fc2a9e3e-rimg-w1000-h600-dcf8f8f8-gmir.jpg?v=1790348950 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Papier-Mache Comes Alive with Margaret Cogswell being held? - **A:** Papier-Mache Comes Alive with Margaret Cogswell takes place on Fri, 07 May, 2027 at 09:00 am to Sun, 09 May, 2027 at 05:00 pm at Kensington Art Supply & Instruction, 6999 11 Street Southeast, Calgary, Canada. - **Q**: Who is organizing Papier-Mache Comes Alive with Margaret Cogswell? - **A:** Papier-Mache Comes Alive with Margaret Cogswell is organized by Kensington Art Supply. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
