Mini Cooper Club Event: Rosebud Theatre Adventure

Event Theme: Scenic Drive, Live Theatre, and MINI Camaraderie!
Join us for a cultural escape to the charming hamlet of Rosebud, known for its cozy atmosphere, artsy vibe, and incredible theatre productions. This event features a scenic drive through the rolling prairies, a delicious lunch, and a live theatre performance that will leave you inspired. Perfect for MINI lovers who enjoy combining a bit of culture with camaraderie!
Itinerary for November 1, 2025
10:00 AM – Meet-Up at CrossIron Mills (Calgary)
Location: Park near the Bass Pro Shops entrance.
Meet fellow club members, review the route, and distribute maps or GPS links.
Ensure everyone has a full tank of gas and is ready for the drive.
10:30 AM – Departure for Rosebud
Start the convoy heading east on Highway 1, then north on Highway 9 toward Rosebud.
Enjoy a 1.5-hour drive through scenic prairies and small towns.
12:00 PM – Arrival in Rosebud and Lunch at the Mercantile Dining Room
Park in the designated lot near the theatre (ample space for our Minis).
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Mercantile Dining Room, included with theatre tickets.
1:30 PM – Rosebud Theatre Show
Head to the Rosebud Theatre for the afternoon performance (exact show details TBA).
Immerse yourself in a professional live production that promises to entertain and inspire.
Ticket Price: ~$60/person (includes lunch and show).
3:30 PM – Explore Rosebud
After the show, take time to stroll through the quaint streets of Rosebud.
Visit local shops, galleries, or the Rosebud Museum to learn about the area’s history.
4:30 PM – Social Hour and MINI Photos
Regroup near the parking area for a casual social hour and group photos with the Minis against the picturesque backdrop of the town.
5:00 PM – Departure for Calgary
Regroup in the parking lot and begin the return drive.
Optional stop in Strathmore or Chestermere for coffee or snacks if the group is interested.
6:30 PM – Arrival Back in Calgary
Arrive at CrossIron Mills or head directly home from the convoy.
What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing and warm layers (November can be chilly!)
Cash or card for ticket purchase, optional shopping, or snacks
Camera or phone for photos
Full tank of gas before departure
