Alberta’s oil and gas sector has made tremendous strides in reducing emissions, now it’s time to share those stories, celebrate the progress, and strengthen the connections driving change.

The Methane Mixer is a high-energy, hands-on networking experience bringing together operators, innovators, regulators, researchers, associations, and government to highlight practical methane-reduction solutions, celebrate Alberta’s progress, and spark new collaboration across the sector. Connect, collaborate, and compete in a fun and interactive environment that highlights real solutions and real impact.

What to Expect

• Engagement: Participate in a dynamic team challenge that turns knowledge exchange into a friendly competition.

• Insight: Hear success stories and practical lessons from the field: no sales pitches, just real results.

• Connection: Build relationships with industry, government, and research leaders advancing methane emissions reduction.

How It Works

You’ll join a team on a mission to uncover the technologies, strategies, and collaborations driving methane reductions across Canada’s oil and gas sector. Visit interactive activation stations hosted by industry experts, gather key insights, and share takeaways as a group.

Teams that complete the mission successfully will compete for prizes and bragging rights!

Registration is Now Open!
Participants register individually, and teams will be assigned at random on the day of the event. In the spirit of giving back, registration is $10 per person, with 100% of proceeds supporting the Calgary Food Bank.

Registration includes appetizers and one drink ticket. A cash bar will also be available.
