Meditation: Unknotting the Body Mind
Caught up wishing that things were a bit different at times? Waiting for something to change to be just right? Not feeling safe or content being yourself? Do you find yourself engaging in practices and teachings to make things better?
As seekers, we end up wound up, wounded, resisting what is; “not this” becomes the knots in the body and mind that seemingly bind us to suffering. Yet, seemingly paradoxically, “not this” remains a key teaching in recognizing Self.
This six-week registered program explores the use of simple and elegant contemplation and meditation techniques to unwind the habitual knots in body and mind while pointing at who we actually are.
We will explore and invite the release of the holding patterns in the tissues of our bodies through a deeply enjoyable somatic (body-based) meditation. The knots in mind – old beliefs and thinking patterns – will be unwound and clarified through the use of an expressive two-person contemplative exercise known as dyading.
