Soon, word spread to bands like Led Zeppelin, who used that freedom to push their sound in new directions. Released in 1970, 'Led Zeppelin III' captures a band in transition. Moving beyond the heavy sound of their early records, it blends hard rock with acoustic, folk, and blues influences—shaped by time spent writing in the Welsh countryside and recording in more relaxed, unconventional environments.
