- **Event Description**: Bringing back the country vibe by popular request! You can get your groove on and still be at home by 9 Dreamy! 

We will be “taking over” Ranchman’s for some FREE Queer line dancing fun, taught by a fantastic Gay instructor. No tickets needed, just show up and look for the “HERE and QUEER” tables with the rainbow table cloths- typically to the left of the dance floor. 

Stop by the table before you hit the dance floor to grab a glow bracelet- trying to find a way to make it easier to identify each other! If you have ideas let me know! 

What you can expect:

-Our takeovers open doors to spaces that don’t always feel like they are made for us, it will be open to the public but there is safety (and fun!) in numbers. 

-It’s about visibility, we are here, we are Queer and we are an important part of our city! Come Loud and Proud! 

-Our instructor Sean will be teaching us from 6:30-7:30pm with a playlist of common dances from 7:30-8pm. 

-We will have a table as a home base so you can meet others, it’s okay to come solo or with a friendly group! You can stay and connect after we get our groove on, we will be there until 8:30.

This is failure free, you don’t get all the steps? No problem, we are there to laugh together. If you want a break from the dance floor, there is a food menu and a stool with your name on it. 

Please check pronouns, don’t assume! If you have questions about why we do this, please ask! 

As always these gatherings are meant to be welcoming to all, we can learn a lot from each other across age, interests & identity so come with an open heart and mind! 

All folks from our 2SLGBTQIA+ community are welcome! The bathrooms are binary, if you want a bathroom buddy, just ask!
