Our candle making event is a hands-on activity where you learn how to make their own candles from scratch that are non toxic and 100% soy wax candles. During the event, you will be guided through the process of melting wax, adding fragrance oils and and pouring the wax into candle safe containers. The event usually begins with a brief introduction to candle making and an overview of the different types of candles that can be made. You will then have the opportunity to choose your own fragrance and decorate your candle with decorative embeds and labels. As the candles are being poured and set, participants can enjoy snacks and drinks and socialize with each other. Once the candles have hardened, participants can decorate their candles with labels, or other decorative elements. The event provides a fun and creative outlet for participants to express their individuality while learning a new skill. Don't worry about coming alone as most do!What is included:-all non toxic materials, paraffin, paraben and phthalate free. The wax we use is 100% soy wax.-one 9 oz candle-all materials required to make the candles - fragrance oils-decorative materials + labels, and a bag to your candles home in-nine popular scents to choose from (including fall/winter inspired scents!)-snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase- 40 new friends in YYC!We cannot wait to meet you all!Check out our instagram for more information :) www.instagram.com/girlsconnectyyc
