The film honours her enduring legacy as an artist, musician, community builder, mentor, and activist.McKeough is a renowned, groundbreaking interdisciplinary artist and musician whose career spans over five decades in music, sound, installation, kinetic sculpture and performance.An irresistible force in Canadian contemporary art, McKeough is recognized for her commitment to experimentation, mentorship, and her dedication to fostering artistic development and community. McKeough was awarded the Canadian Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts in 2009, and is a recent recipient of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Artist Award in 2025.This film is 100% independently produced by not-for-profit AvidEye Productions, 2026.
