# Event Details - **Event Name**: CreativiTEA - Inner and Outer Masks Workshop - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 25 Oct, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Sun, 25 Oct, 2026 at 03:30 pm (-06:00) - **Event Description**: What could be better than art-making, self-discovery and tea? Using masks and collage, explore what you choose to show and what you hide.About this Event(Note: The October 18th workshop had to be rescheduled to this new date due to unforseen circumstances.)Whether we know it or not, we all wear masks. There are aspects of ourselves that we want the world to see. There are aspects of ourselves that we want people to believe. But what is our interior mask? What parts do we keep just for ourselves? What do we choose to hide?In this workshop, we will explore both sides of our mask using paints and an array of collage materials on white paper masks to create a representation of our inner and outer expressions.Because there's nothing wrong with creating a mask to represent ourselves in a certain way or choosing not to share every part of ourselves with the world. The most important piece is to be in choice about what we share and what we keep. What is a CreativiTEA?CreativiTEA is an in-person workshop series for grown-ups that combines fun, insightful art-making activities with community-building through creativity. Each two-hour CreativiTEA session includes:A guided creative activity with all art supplies provided. In this workshop, we will be using white paper masks, paint, paint markers, Mod Podge, scissors and collage materials like tissue paper and magazines.*Socializing and discussion with tea and delicious goodies—also provided(*note: while we will be providing supplies, if participants would like to bring paper materials that feel personally relevant, such as old copies of favourite magazines to cut up, they are more than welcome to do so.)What you don’t need to bring to CreativiTEA?Any concerns about your perceived “artistic ability” or level of “talent”! The workshops are intended for anyone who wants to explore art-making and dive headfirst into the world of creativity.Tickets are limited!
