CREATE(IVITY)

Join photographers Greg Gerla (G1) and Greg Fulmes (G2) for an insightful and informative workshop on nurturing creativity. Learn how to improve your image making by discovering and honing both your imagination and creative process as well as taking control of your photographic equipment, whatever it may be.

Explore ways to use the ‘rules’ as well as interesting ways to break them.

This eight-hour, two-day workshop will include both theory and practice pushing you to experiment and explore the creative process. In the mornings we'll be in our Beltline studio workspace; in the afternoons we'll be shooting together in downtown Calgary.

As Sir Ken Robinson so eloquently said, “Schools are killing creativity!” Together, let's bring it back to life!

Friday: Meet and Greet | 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday: Lecture and shoot | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday: Lecture, shoot and edit | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ish)

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
