Canada Day events are back this July 1 at three downtown locations:
📍The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland (750 9 Ave. S.E.)
📍St. Patrick’s Island (1300 Zoo Rd. N.E.)
📍Municipal Building (800 Macleod Trail S.E.)
Join us to remember the Indigenous People of Canada and what it means to be Canadian. Enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, face painting, fireworks and more.

Highlights:
11 am-5 pm at The Confluence: An Indigenous spotlight and powwow celebrating Indigenous culture through music and dance.
Also, visit The Teaching Tipis and Trappers Tent, offering a variety of topics for discussion and learning.
Explore the variety of cultural booths and activities to learn about Canada’s diverse culture.
3:20 - 11 pm at The Confluence Main Stage show with an all-Canadian line up featuring of musical acts including Lu Kala, Big Sugar, Aysanabee and headliner Sam Roberts Band.
11 am-5 pm at Municipal Building – Explore and try on beautiful cultural outfits that showcase the unique styles and stories of communities around the world.
11 am - 5 pm at St. Patrick’s Island – Enjoy face painting, stilt walkers, activity tents, food vendors and 3 stages showcasing live music and artistic performances!
At approximately 11 pm, fireworks will be launched from Stampede Park. We encourage you to view the fireworks from The Confluence Historic Site and Parkland since viewing from the Stampede Park will not be available due to the set up of the 2025 Stampede.
