Previous groups have expressed a sense of pride and satisfaction from their hard work and often come back to plant in future years.Groups will work together alongside City of Calgary Parks and Open Spaces team members to plant trees and will learn proper planting techniques and tree care.Planting events are seasonal from May to October and typically take around 3-4 hours.Reminders:For your safety, no open toed shoes are allowed to be worn while planting.Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.Please do not wear jewelry that may slip off or bring valuables that may get lost when planting.Registration and waivers must be completed prior to planting.Please ensure you arrive before the start time to ensure you are able to plant a tree.
