She sees art as a doorway back to the land, an act of expression, resistance, and care. She finds freedom in working with her hands and communicating through sculpture, photography and mixed media collage. For the past eight years, she has organized an annual shoreline cleanup and community art gathering at Glenmore Reservoir, transforming beach plastic into art.
