I’m walking on behalf of My Aide In Life, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and the families who care for them.  Through their work, I’ve seen how meaningful connection, dignity, and compassionate support can change someone’s experience of aging.

Alzheimer Calgary plays a vital role in this community.  They provide education, guidance, and resources that help people navigate the early signs of dementia, understand the changes that come with the disease, and support care partners through the challenging moments.  Their impact reaches far beyond any single family—they strengthen the entire network of care.

The Walk & Run is Alzheimer Calgary’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and I’m participating because I believe no one should face dementia alone.  By supporting this event, you’re helping both My Aide In Life and Alzheimer Calgary continue the work that makes such a difference in people’s lives.
