About the event

3 Cold Dishes - Directed by Asurf Oluseyi
This February, we’re proud to present 3 COLD DISHES, a gripping Nollywood thriller and a powerful celebration of Black storytelling:

A high-stakes Pan-African revenge film following three women who reunite years after being trafficked as teenagers to confront the powerful men responsible for their trauma. Spanning West Africa, the film transforms vengeance into a bold reckoning with justice, identity, survival, and reclaiming power.

Presented in honour of Black History Month, this one-night event is more than a film screening, it’s a fully curated cultural experience.

Before the film and again during the post-show reception, the lobby will be filled with Black-owned market vendors, inviting you to step into a space of culture, creativity, and community. Browse, connect, and immerse yourself in a world shaped by artistry and entrepreneurship.

Live Poetry by aloT of Poetry

aloT of Poetry is a Nigerian–South African multidisciplinary poet, spoken-word artist, author, educator, and arts manager who lives and creates on Treaty 7 land. Food Vendor: BUKA

Special Post-Screening Q&A:

After the film, join us for a live Q&A with director Asurf Oluseyi, offering deeper insight into the film’s themes, inspirations, and creative process.
