9:00 - 10:30     DOMINIKA WARCHOL HANN

-  Principal, Industry Value Advisory SAP  -

Before Dominka joined SAP, she was part of a “Future of Work” incubator where they built machine learning tools and activated them with clients; the area of focus was to measure the potential impact of automation across an organization. Companies and individuals struggle to make sense of digital transformation. There is tremendous noise in the market around the tools of digital transformation (AI, ML, Blockchain, Big data, Cloud, etc), but it's not easy to translate these tools into how organizations drive value, the future of their work, and their workforce. Even more confusing is what the future of individual jobs and careers will look like. The future of work is about how we can use our most human skills to grow, change and develop a career that is fulfilling and makes the world a better place.

Dominika has 15 years of experience in management consulting, where she works collaboratively with clients to cut through the noise around the changing future of work and to co-innovate how they will differentiate themselves and drive value in an uncertain future.  Her industry experience spans public sector health policy, and energy and resources strategy as well as First Nations organizations in Alberta.

In her free time, Dominika is a Director for the Women In Needs Society (WINS) and provides strategic guidance to this social enterprise and retail organization located in Calgary, the city she calls ‘home’.

That decision has transformed her life, as she shares what it took to get where she is today, and how to equip yourself for tomorrow.

In June, 2011, Michelle was out for an evening ride when she lost control of her Motorcycle. Upon impact, she broke several bones and severed her femoral artery causing her to almost bleed to death.
