Stories They Brought With Them

Join us on Sunday, September 28th at 2PM for an afternoon of tales as Cris Reidel shares folktales from the cultures of folks who settled here after the Revolutionary War – Irish, Scottish, English, African, and German – along with a little history of our area.

Cris has being performing stories and entertaining people of all ages for more than 30 years. In her own words, “Everyone wants to hear stories. Stories make us – and keep us – human. It’s more and more important for us to understand and appreciate others. Stories connect all people to each other, and to the past, and to future people, relationships all coming from the shared experience of a story.” This project is made possible in part with funds from the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts Aid to Localities program.
