Join authors Alexis and Alyssa Cino, for a special family reading, helping children understand body safety through mindful activities at Magic Held Here!
Lys and Lex Cino will read from their incredible book, "The Family of Secrets: A Beginner's Book to Body Safety," where siblings and cousins work together to explain in an easy-to-understand way body safety, safe vs. unsafe secrets, safe communication, and empowerment. Following the reading, we will engage in mindful exercises focusing on the characters' creativity, trust, and bravery. Each child participant will receive trust tokens and learn to make an origami swan. Parent participation is required for this engaging and important family event.
What to Expect:
✦ Author Reading: An engaging reading by Lys and Lex Cino from "The Family of Secrets."
✦ Body Safety & Communication: Age-appropriate discussion on safe vs. unsafe secrets and communication.
✦ Mindful Exercises: Activities centered on creativity, trust, and bravery inspired by the book.
✦ Trust Tokens: Each child participant will receive a trust tokens.
✦ Origami Swan Craft: Learn to make an origami swan, an important symbol in the book!
What to Bring: Water bottle, an open heart, and wear comfortable clothing.

Workshop Details: This event is designed for children and their guardians. Parent participation is required. To ensure a supportive and engaging atmosphere, participant numbers are limited.
