SPACES
In 2026, the Austrian Cultural Forum Cairo focuses on the theme SPACES, understanding space not only as a physical location but as a social, political, ecological, and digital field of action. The theme responds to the realities of cultural work in Egypt by expanding access to resources, audiences, and collaborations beyond established institutions and locations.
SAFE SPACES
Can art heal?
In a world full of noise and pressure, Safe Spaces invite us to pause. Across exhibitions, residencies, performances, and community projects, artists and audiences in Egypt explore how creativity can offer refuge and connection.
