The versatile use of Resin in different artistic majors is making it one of the essential techniques to learn.
In this course you will learn all the basics and safety tips of using resin in different art projects and how to incorporate it into your jewelry making or interior design career.
The course will be divided into 4 topics, each topic will be covered in one session.
First you will learn about the different types of resin , their cure time and all the safety tips in addition to a brief introduction to decoupage.
In the second session , you'll apply what you learned by coating your decoupage then styling and casting your own pieces into commercial molds.
In the last two sessions you'll be introduced to what is known as "cold enamel", the third session will cover how to use cold enamel on borderless surfaces with opaque colors to create the effect of real enamel.
and finally you will learn how to fill pierced wood and metal pieces with resin and translucent colors to create the effect of stained glass.
At the end of this course you will have a wide range of samples to take home.
No prior knowledge is required.
Just bring some old clothes with you to protect your clothes as it is nearly impossible to get the resin off fabrics .
