A picture is a time machine you can hold. It transports us to the past and allows us to relive those moments!

Downtown on Analog Film is a tour for photography enthusiasts interested in the evolution of this art in our beloved Cairo. You'll explore the sound of a camera shutter, film development, various camera types, and more. We'll contrast the era of motion cameras used to tell our stories with today's digital methods. In our digital age, where a moment is captured in an instant, our photo albums have shifted to Instagram, and development has been replaced by Photoshop.

This tour is particularly special edition: we’re collaborating with Cairo Analog Society for a unique photo walk and tour. You’ll have the chance to step back in time and shoot with an analog camera as you wander the streets of Downtown, guided by their expertise.
