The Cairns Historical Society warmly invites members to our final Meet & Memories morning tea for the year. Join us for a relaxed gathering where we share stories of life in Far North Queensland.
These mornings are about the everyday memories that help shape our region’s history, from catching the old train to the Tablelands to swimming in creeks on hot summer days, dodging cyclones or strolling the Esplanade before the lagoon was built.
Bring a photo, an object or simply a good yarn. You do not need to be a historian, just someone with a story to tell or a love for listening to the stories of others. The memories shared today help preserve the history of tomorrow.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes provided.
