?? ShakaRoot è cantante, musicista e produttore Reggae che fonde Roots, spiritual folk e soul alla Reggae music. Attivo dalla metà degli anni 2000, si fa notare con Jah Is Always Around ed il singolo We Need A Solution, prodotto da Macro Marco nel 2008, piccolo anthem della scene underground del reggae europeo. Il suo album d’esordio Prisoner in Babylon (2009) viene venduto in tutto il mondo ottenendo ottimi riscontri negli Stati Uniti e in Giappone, l’album è dedicato a temi di libertà e giustizia sociale ma soprattutto ai bambini soldato. Dopo una pausa prolifica dedicata allo studio e alla creazione di nuova musica, torna con I Wings (2017), Anything We Need (2019) e i singoli Yard e Jah Musician, trasmessi anche alla BBC negli storici programmi delle leggende della musica come David Rodigan e Don Letts. In Italia, la sua musica viene trasmessa a Radio 3 (Battiti) e Radio Città Fujiko (Soul Shakedown Party)
Nel tempo ha collaborato con artisti come King Kietu, Filomuzik, Macka B e Isla Sound.
Dal vivo, Shaka si è esibito in importanti festival come il Sardinia Reggae Festival e il Rototom Sunsplash.
Il suo nuovo album Jah Musician (in uscita il 7 gennaio 2026) e’ interamente ispirato alla sua vita.
ShakaRoot è accompagnato dalla Kalamity Band, powerhouse della Reggae Music made in Sardinia!

Kalamilty Band: è un nuovo progetto realizzatosi dall'unione di musicisti provenienti da diverse realtà già note nel panorama reggae come Arrokibi Roots , The Islanders, Dub in Island e The Misty Morning. Una carica esplosiva di groove che accompagnerà Shakaroot in un concerto che ci farà ballare, dove non mancheranno di certo gli ospiti! 
Alla batteria Fabrizio Dettori  , alle tastiere Samuele Frongia aka Sam Natty Sam  , alla chitarra Jacopo Carta  e al basso  Simone Renz Maccioni !
