Pianista, tastierista e compositore originario di Los Angeles, Danny Grissett è oggi uno dei musicisti più richiesti dai festival jazz internazionali. La sua formazione passa attraverso maestri assoluti come Barry Harris, Kenny Barron e Herbie Hancock. Giovanissimo, si afferma sulla scena musicale collaborando con leggende quali Billy Higgins, George Coleman, Freddie Hubbard e Jackie McLean.

Nel 2003 si trasferisce a New York, dove inizia prestigiose collaborazioni con Buster Williams, Nicholas Payton e Benny Golson, entrando poi stabilmente nel gruppo di Tom Harrell, con il quale realizza alcuni dischi fondamentali della scena jazz contemporanea. Pianista fantasioso e swingante, fonde tradizione e modernità con grande eleganza e musicalità. La critica lo ha definito “uno dei top three young pianists della scena jazz contemporanea internazionale”.

Al suo fianco, Joshua Ginsburg, contrabbassista di grande solidità ed espressività, attivo da anni sulla scena jazz di New York, apprezzato per il suono profondo e il forte senso dello swing.

Completa il trio Francesco Ciniglio, batterista italiano di rilievo internazionale, residente a New York, noto per uno stile energico, moderno e al tempo stesso profondamente radicato nella tradizione jazzistica.
