The dance takes place in the lovely 3rd floor space in the Willey Building (Cabot Town Hall, 3084 Main St), from 7-9:30pm. Live music is provided by a great group of local musicians--feel free to just come and listen if you prefer!

Enjoy a great sense of community and reconnecting with others after the long winter! No partner is needed, and all ages and abilities are welcome. We use genderless terminology and all dances are taught, and easy to learn, but if you’ve never been to a contra, you are encouraged to arrive right at 7:00 to learn the basics, and then we’ll build upon what you learn throughout the evening.

Admission is on a sliding scale, $5-10 suggested, but nobody is turned away for lack of funds. Come see what contra dancing is all about--you’ll only wish you’d discovered it sooner!
