This event will again be co-sponsored by the City of Cabot & Cabot City Beautiful (CCB), and will be held in conjunction with the national “Great American Clean-Up” Campaign & statewide “Keep Arkansas Beautiful” Month.
“Hazardous Waste Round-Up 2026” will be held on Saturday, March 21st, from 9 a.m. until 12’ noon.
CCB will provide a drive-thru Drop-Off at the Cabot Junior High South, located at the 38 Panther Trail.
This "collection event" will be a DRIVE-THRU ONLY. Anyone attending this event must stay in their vehicle, as they pull thru the Drop-Off Area. Volunteers will remove items from the vehicles & load into proper containers. The Drop-Off service will allow for the disposal of various Electronic Waste (E-waste) & Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) materials, to include: latex paints (waste & recyclable), oil-base paints/thinners, motor oil, antifreeze, fluorescent bulbs, pesticides & herbicides, household cleaners, household batteries (nicad, alkaline & lithium), automotive batteries & tires(must-be-off-the-rim/limit-of-4). Computer components, TVs, VCRs, and other types of electronic equipment will be accepted. Any appliance containing Freon MUST have proper documentation stating that the Freon has been legally removed. If not, items will not be accepted. Scrap metals will be collected by Scout Troop 201. Absolutely No Businesses or Contractors please. All these drop-off services will be available for the community = for one day only and at “no charge” to the public.
Donations of any amount, to cover the substantial expense, can be made to Cabot City Beautiful, Inc.
