In this 8-week course, we will explore fundamentals of video and cinematic production. Our focus will be on video editing; we will be using Davinci Resolve 20. We will also consider important components such as acting, script writing, directing, and more. All participants will produce their own short film. The course will culminate in the presenting of all films as a film festival at the Biblioteca Municipal Blanca E. Colberg Rodríguez (Cabo Rojo).
This course is for the absolute beginner – if you have never used Davinci Resolve 20 or other editing software, this course is for you. If you are a more experienced user, you are welcome to participate. Davinci Resolve 20 will be available on the computers at the Biblioteca – you do not need your own computer with the installed software.
