Weenie Roast Race Event Class Information
*** Open Stock – under 650/651-999/1,000+ /Stock Turbo
*** Improved Stock – under 650/651-999/1,000+
*** Lake Drag – Natural & Power added – Both Over or Under 1,000 cc
*** ATV/UTV Classes (classes to be announced)
OPEN STOCK RULES
• NO Launch controls allowed
• Engine must be of stock bore, stroke, and compression for model year of sled.
• NO base gasket changes or alterations that change stock engine dimensions.
• Must have Stock carburetor and OEM Air Box for model and year.
• OEM exhaust pipes and muffler must be stock for model and must exit out of stock exhaust hole.
• Must have stock clutches front and rear.
• Stock or any OEM track can be used but not shaved or turned around.
• NO Rail Extensions Allowed and NO aftermarket suspension rails allowed.
• Sled must have stock suspension and track length that it came with from OEM.
• Only carbide tip studs can be used in any amount. NO ice picks, chisels or grinding of studs is allowed.
• Suspension must be stock for model and year. NO drilling or relocating of arms or stock wheels or travel limiting of suspension is allowed. NO rail extensions allowed.
• Stock or any aftermarket skis may be used, but NO short or shortened skis allowed.
• Use of Stock CDI or ECU only.
• No aftermarket EFI kits.
• Only OEM turbo kits allowed
• No pressured fuel systems, after market turbo or NOS kits.
• No aftermarket Reed Valves or Blocks.
• Pump Fuel Only – 94 Octane Maximum for Stock Class
• MUST HAVE WORKING HEADLIGHT, TAILLIGHT in the Factory Location
• Working TETHER must used IF it is an OEM part.
IMPROVED STOCK RULES
• Crankcase, Cylinders, Chaincase and Drivetrain must be OEM.
• OEM number of cylinders and Stroke must be maintained.
• Pipes/Cans are OK but must exit out of stock exhaust hole.
• Aftermarket heads, reeds and blocks are OK.
• Sleds with OEM Fuel Injection can have changes made to regulators added for adjusting fuel.
• Sleds WITHOUT OEM Fuel Injection can NOT have it added on.
• No aftermarket EFI kits.
• NO Rail Extensions and NO aftermarket suspension rails allowed.
• Sled must have stock suspension and track length as OEM.
• NO cleated Tracks.
• Any carbide tip studs or chisel system can be used.
• NO remounting of suspension except in OEM holes or OEM pre drilled holes.
• RULE CHANGE: Must have Hood, and TAILLIGHT in Factory Location. Working headlight NOT required.
• Working TETHER must used IF it is an OEM part OR has been installed aftermarket.
• Any Primary or Secondary Clutches can be used.
LAKE DRAG RULES
• All modifications allowed.
• Any fuel system allowed.
• Any track or stud (chisel) system allowed.
• 4 classes – over or under 1,000 cc in either natural or power added (turbo, etc.).
• Working TETHER must used at all times.
