Training Description:
The NEBMCI Recruitment Batch 2026 and Phase 1 Training Program marks the beginning of a comprehensive journey for aspiring members through the Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC). This structured training is designed to build physical endurance, technical mountaineering skills, leadership, survival knowledge, environmental awareness, and social responsibility. Phase 1 focuses on equipping participants with essential mountaineering foundations, including trail techniques, camp management, teamwork, survival skills, wilderness first aid, emergency response, basic life support, and environmental protection. Through hands-on training, field exercises, and guided instruction, participants will develop the competence, discipline, and resilience required for safe and responsible outdoor activities. This phase serves as the critical groundwork for the succeeding training stages, ensuring that every aspirant is well-prepared to meet the standards, values, and mission of NEBMCI as they progress toward full membership.
