Calling all actors, dancers and singers! Byron Civic Theatre will be presenting All Shook Up May 29-31 at the Byron Middle School Theatre. Performers in High School through adults are welcome to audition.
All Shook Up is loosely based on Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, it’s 1955 and into a square little town rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets. Featuring mega hits from the beloved Elvis® catalogue this musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
Auditions will be held at the Byron Park District:
Friday March 13 6-8pm
Saturday March 14 1-4pm
*auditions are 15 minute time slots, 3 people per slot.

Audition Information:
Monologue: Please prepare a one-minute modern comedic monologue.
Vocals: Prepare either an Elvis song or a song from the 1950s era. You will need at least 16 bars (approximately 30+ seconds).
Choreography: A short dance routine will be taught at auditions.
Video Auditions: Video auditions will be accepted and should follow the same requirements as in-person auditions. Please be sure to include your dance experience when submitting your video. Video auditions are due by March 14th 5pm and email to
