Walking Through Grief

Exercise and community play vital roles in the healing process for those who are grieving. Physical activity, such as walking, helps reduce stress, improve mood, and boost overall well-being by releasing endorphins. It can also provide a sense of routine and purpose during a difficult time. Being part of a community offers emotional support, understanding, and companionship, which can alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness. Sharing experiences with others who are on a similar journey fosters connection and resilience, making the path forward a bit more manageable.

Take a step toward healing with us. Join Walking Through Grief, an intentional walking group meeting from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on select Fridays in Douglas Walker Park (1195 84th Street Byron Center, MI 49315). To register, please call 616-356-4825.
