Together, we’ll imagine a thriving, just, and regenerative future for the Northern Rivers — and take the first steps to bring it into being. ------ This is Wild Imaginings in action... what you can expect from the event: From 4pm: To warm up the evening and create opportunities for deeper connection , join us early for a hands-on weaving experience with Kim Tait — master weaver, fibre artist, and long-time Byron Shire local. A gentle way to arrive, connect , and ground yourself before the night unfolds. Then from 5:30pm our speakers include: ? Coedie McCarthy — Yidinji Bar Burrum and Mamu artist, rapper and cultural visionary weaving ancient tradition and contemporary expression on Bundjalung Country ? Zenith Virago — Deathwalker, celebrant, TEDx speaker, and Byron Citizen of the Year. Zenith has spent 30 years pioneering a more human, community-led approach to death and dying — and what it means to live and leave well. ? Greg Sheehan — One of Australia's most celebrated percussionists and the original Rhythmagician, based in Bellingen ? Carmen Stewart — Community strategist, futurist, and 2021 NSW Woman of the Year who has activated 21,000+ hours of community contribution in the Northern Rivers, sharing abou ? Alison Drover — Environmental Strategist and Change Agent working at the intersection of ecology, leadership, and regenerative business ? Techa Beaumont & Simon Jankelson — Seed Northern Rivers, on what it takes to sustain the next generation of changemakers ?
