AN ART THERAPY JOURNEY THROUGH WOMEN WHO RUN WITH THE WOLVES

Join us for a six-month art therapy journey inspired by the timeless wisdom of Women Who Run With the Wolves. Together we will explore six powerful stories through guided visualisation, creativity, reflection and meaningful connection.

Each month we will delve into a different chapter, using art therapy to move beyond simply reading the stories and instead experience them personally. Through image, colour, symbol and metaphor, we will explore themes of intuition, self-trust, relationships, belonging and the reclamation of the Wild Woman within.

Month One: The Howl – Resurrection of the Wild Woman

LA LOBA – THE WOLF WOMAN

Our journey begins with La Loba, the Wolf Woman who gathers bones in the desert and sings them back to life. This story invites us to reflect on the parts of ourselves that may have been forgotten, silenced or neglected through the demands of everyday life. This session asks the question:

What is longing to come back to life within me?

Through a guided visualisation, participants will journey into the desert to meet La Loba and consider:

 * What parts of myself have I lost along the way?

 * What gifts, dreams, passions, or strengths are ready to be reclaimed?

 * What within me is longing to come back to life?

Using a mixed-media collage art therapy process, you will create an image representing the aspects of yourself you are ready to remember and resurrect. Together, we will reflect on the artwork through group sharing, gaining insight and connection through witnessing one another's stories and experiences.

Join us as we gather the bones of who we have been, honour the woman we are today and reconnect with the woman we have always been.
