Grief can leave us feeling isolated - there are few places and spaces that feel safe or comfortable to acknowledge loss, to talk about our person, people or pets; about the terrain of loss and grief.

The purpose of walking together is not to fix or be healed.

We walk to honour, remember, celebrate, venerate, companion and tend.

Walking together monthly is to be in relationship with this very special nook of the world, to keep company with each other and witness together what grief offers us.

On this walk you:
• will not be asked, “are you over it yet?” or “are you still sad?”
• do not need to offer or consume advice or platitudes
• nor listen if you do not have capacity
• will practice noticing

Walk fast, slow, go quietly, mindfully or practice sharing and listening. Your walk, you choose.

Tide Marks is a free/by donation monthly community practice. All are welcome.
