Join us for a joyful, hands‑on celebration of creativity inspired by the beautiful book 'Where We Live Is… Creative'.
This family‑friendly event invites children and grown‑ups to explore what creativity means to them and to imagine the many ways our community can spark ideas, emotions, and connections.
Through playful making, gentle prompts, and open‑ended activities, families can let their imaginations spill out and see what takes shape. We’ll be creating paper‑chain poems, hope‑filled wool‑wrapped stars, and simple puppets.
We’ll also be joined by Creeping Toad, who will be 'inspired by trees' to help everyone make their own woodland windows to take home.
We’re proud to be part of Let’s Create Art, a nationwide campaign encouraging people across the UK to enjoy high‑quality, participatory art experiences.
Together, we’ll add our own Buxton‑flavoured contribution, celebrating the creativity that lives in our homes, our streets, and the places we share.
Come along, make something meaningful, and help us show that where we live is creative too.
