What is sexual violence and how can it impact a person's mental health and wellbeing? In this workshop, held at The Grapevine Centre, Helen will discuss the impacts of childhood sexual abuse, rape and sexual violence (SV) and how to access support. Helen is the Training Manager at The Survivors Trust which is an umbrella Organisation with over 120 specialist SV member charities in the UK. Helen has worked with survivors of rape and sexual abuse for over 10 years managing Sexual Assault Referral Centre services and training Helpline Volunteers. Helen currently trains Independent Sexual Violence Adviser’s (ISVA’s) Level 4 Diploma.
