Later in the afternoon, Meet Mary the Well Woman at 3pm for a fascinating talk and demonstration, followed by some musical nostalgia with Gramophone Greats at 4pm where you can request your favourite song outside the Pump Room. On Sunday 30 August, try your hand at traditional crafts with our Fabric Flowers Through Time workshop, exploring Suffolk Puffs, Yorkshire Daisies and Yo-Yos, from 10am–12pm. Get involved with A Slice of Family History, our baking competition, with entries on display from 10am and judging at 1pm. There’ll be live music throughout the day too, with Johnny Victory performing at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. You can also meet Mary the Well Woman at 3pm for another fascinating talk and demonstration, followed by Gramophone Greats at 4pm. Throughout the weekend, there’s even more to explore, including a Historic Buxton display, local history food tasting, a Bayeux Tapestry-inspired display, living history, period vehicles, traditional games and the chance to explore Buxton’s historic shops.
