In addition, OPRD’s work with the nine Tribes in Oregon and inadvertent discovery protocols will be discussed. The afternoon training will conclude with a site visit to a historic archaeological site within the park.This training will take place at LL Stub Stewart State Park in the Mountain Dale Meeting Hall. Parking is limited at the meeting hall, please consider parking at the Hilltop Day Use Area and taking the trail down to the meeting hall. Parking passes will be provided for the day. Although most of the training will be indoors, we will be hiking to an archeology site during the training. Please come prepared with boots/sturdy shoes and forecast appropriate clothing. Drinks and light snacks will be provided. Space is limited for this specialty event. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation at least 36 hours in advance of the event, so that others may attend.
