Join us for a free showing of Shrek at Clark Park as part of the 2026 Movies in the Park series.

One of the most beloved animated films of all time, Shrek follows an unlikely hero on a hilarious adventure filled with fairy tale characters, friendship, and plenty of laughs for all ages.

Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite fairy tale character, ogre, princess, donkey, dragon, or storybook hero. Costumes are welcome and all part of the fun.

This evening's featured community organization is Walkerville Grocery. More than a future grocery store, this grassroots project is restoring a historic Walkerville building into a neighborhood gathering place where people can access local food, enjoy coffee, attend community events, and connect with one another. Built through years of volunteer effort, fundraising, and community support, the project represents the kind of community investment that helps keep neighborhoods vibrant and connected. Donations collected during the event will support their continued efforts to bring this vision to life.

Community Market: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Food vendors begin serving around 6:00 PM

Movie begins around 7:00 PM

Admission is free.
