Opening Function - Convergence

Join us for the Opening Function of "Convergence" by Bridget Seaton.

Bridget Seaton’s solo exhibition of paintings and original prints depicts her firsthand experiences of the South West’s woodlands, coastal habitats, wetlands and forests. The work addresses the fluctuating state of the bush in its’ constant state of renewal and decay. A celebration of the resilience of our natural environment through expressive colour and mark making.

Light refreshments provided. All welcome!

Artist talk: 2pm on 14 March - Bridget offers an insight into how her firsthand observations in the bush assist her to work from memory in the studio. A chance to see her sketchbooks and learn about her processes of mark making and layering.

Workshop demonstration: Monotype Printmaking - Textures of the Landscape - 9am - 12.15pm on 15 March in the Fodder Room
