That’s why we offer you the opportunity to attend our courses for a day. You will meet our experienced tutors, chat with current students, and gain a deeper understanding of the way we teach and how you will benefit.Attendance can be in person at The Purcell School of Music near London, or online.Attendees are entitled to claim 50% of the cost of the Taster Day back if a place is booked on one of our longer courses within a year of attending the Taster Day.​You may also opt for a private piano lesson with an available tutor. The cost is £90 per hour and we normally recommend 45 minutes (pro rata rate £67.50)All Taster Days are held at the Purcell School, Aldenham Road, Bushey, Herts, WD23 2TS. Please note that you may attend a maximum of 3 Taster Days but you may only claim up to a maximum of £100 back against a longer course.FeesIn person:Fees per day: £162, including meals and refreshments (lunch available as an add-on until 05/04/26)Online:£80, including recordings for 6 weeksDiscountsMembers of The Curious Piano Teachers, Practising the Piano Online Academy, ISM and EPTA receive 15% off all fees above (proof of active membership required)In-person attendees receive up to £100 off 2026-27 PTC coursesOnline attendees receive up to £50 off 2026-27 PTC coursesThe PTC UK Ltd reserves the right to alter the timetable without prior notice.
