NHS guidelines recommend introducing solid foods to your baby around 6 months. Join us when your baby is 4-6 months old so you can prepare early, know the signs your baby is ready for food and get information in line with NHS guidelines as you prepare for this exciting next stage.
This course is aimed at parents/carers of babies aged between 4 – 6 months.
Registration Also, you will need to register with the Family Centre Service before attending the course. You can do this through the new Family Centre Service website which is www.hertsfamilycentres.org If you are not registered this could affect your booking.

Need to cancel a booking for a free event? We appreciate you taking the time cancel your booking if you can't attend as this will give others the chance to book the place instead. Please go to your confirmation email and follow the link to log in to Eventbrite. Go to the Tickets page, and locate your order. Click on the event order to view order details, and then select "Cancel Order" to cancel your booking. We’ll send you an email confirming the cancellation.
Need to cancel a booking for an event you have paid for? We understand that life is not always predictable when you have young children. Our cancellation policy allows you to receive a partial refund for most of our events up to 24 hours before a single event, or the first in a course of events, begins. Please note that from 25th June 2019 Eventbrite will deduct a processing fee from your original ticket price. To request a refund, please go to your confirmation email and follow the link to log in to your account. Go to Tickets in your Eventbrite account, find your order, then select "Request a Refund." We will try to approve your refund within a day or two and when issued, refunds can take up to 5 business days to show on your account.
Want to change your booking to a different session? Please cancel your original booking according to the instructions above. Please note that you will receive a refund of your original ticket price minus Eventbrite’s processing fees. Then make your new booking in the usual way on Eventbrite.
