This Sunday, ANTRA – Australia & New Zealand Tongzhi Rainbow Alliance is collaborating with EMI on a Mandarin-speaking community gathering in Burwood. The afternoon will provide a relaxed and inclusive space to explore LGBTQIA+ identity, faith, lived experience and belonging — without any expectation that participants hold a particular religious belief. � We’ll also take part in a creative activity, “You Are God’s Rainbow Limited Edition”. Each person will receive a blank figure and can use textures, colours, clothing, accessories, makeup, superhero-inspired ideas and other materials to turn it into their own unique creation. There will also be optional discussion around questions such as: � If I could have one superpower, what would it be? � What part of myself would I like to embrace more fully? The gathering will include a short faith reflection and an optional prayer component led within the program. � LGBTQIA+ Christians are welcome � People interested in Christianity, inclusive faith communities or the intersection of faith and LGBTQIA+ identity are welcome � You do not need to be religious to attend � People of all genders, sexualities and identities are welcome � All personal sharing is voluntary ANTRA is a non-religious LGBTQIA+ community organisation.
